The Vermont HIV/AIDS Community Advisory Group (CAG)

CAG is a group of concerned community members who examine Vermont's HIV/AIDS prevention and service needs. They help determine how prevention and service programs are designed and funded. The CAG is the link between the Vermont Department of Health and the communities most affected by HIV and AIDS.

If you have felt the impact of HIV/AIDS and want to get involved, please consider joining the Vermont Community Advisory Group. In 2010 the CAG will meet every other month in central Vermont.

There is a stipend and travel reimbursement available for those who are not participating as part of their job. Members also serve on committees that meet monthly. Most members invest 8-10 hours per month. Contact the HIV/AIDS/STD Program at the Vermont Department of Health (802.863.7245) to obtain an application or download a .pdf version here.
