Welcome to Health Quest:

Walking and Biking to School

This online curriculum resource has been made available by a grant from Safe Routes to School Program of the Vermont Agency of Transportation.

Middle school teachers and students are invited to use this for FREE.

Teachers:
Go to "Unit Overview " to review information about the standards-based unit designed to broaden your students' knowledge of how person-powered transportation i.e., walking and biking, impacts them, their community and the world, and engages your student in local action planning.

Standards Alignment:
This learning unit on Walking and Biking to School will meet national and Vermont State Standards for Health, math, Writing, Reading and Communication. Each Learning can be easily aligned with one or more standard.
