Our Staff

JoEllen Tarallo-Falk, Executive Director
(B.A. in Communications, University of New Hampshire, 1977; M.Ed. and Social Services, University of Vermont, 1983; M.Ed., Harvard University, MA, 1988; Doctorate in Educational Administration, Planning, and Social Policy, Harvard University, MA, 1995).  JoEllen Tarallo-Falk, Ed.D., C.H.E.S. was appointed by the Board of Directors as the new Executive Director on August 29, 2004. JoEllen brings twenty-five years experience as a teacher, health educator, educational administrator and program developer to the Center for Health and Learning.

Martha M Moravec, Administrative Assistant
(B.A. Smith College) A few of Martha's nine lives includes 10 years as a professional chef, 10 years as a Program Administrator at the School for International Training (SIT) in Brattleboro VT and years of training and practice in theatre and the martial arts.

Donna Dawson, Office Assistant
(B.A. Psychology and Sociology, Lynchburg College; MSW, Stonybrook University)
. She has over20 years experience in various human service organizations specifically in the fields of childcare, youth development, substance abuse services and school/community health promotion.

Bob Tucker , Bookkeeper
"Tucker" brings years of experience with non-profit finance to the financial systems at the Center for Health and Learning. He completes accounting operations and procedures.

Lisa Ford, Projects Coordinator
Lisa has 10 years of experience developing and implementing communuty-based wellness programs. In her 7 years with the Brattleboro Food Coop she developed numerous educational opportunitiues for children and adults to learn the benefits of choosing healthy natural foods. For the schools in the greater Brattleboro community Lisa organized a classroom-based healthy snack program that included food education and redcuced prices for bulk buying. She has also directed the Meals on Wheels program in Brattleboro, which ensures that homebound seniors receive daily nutritious meals.
